AVID VorView (Vortex Lattice Method) is a sub/super sonic aerodynamic tool, that translates geometry to performance, trim, stability and control. It is used to evaluate the aerodynamic properties of an aircraft or aircraft design. Based on the geometry of the aircraft design, AVID VorView will provide the user aerodynamic performance information based on the specified aircraft attitude as well as velocity.
AVID VorView can import geometries created with AVID PAGE, a parametric aircraft geometry modeling tool. VorView's graphical user interface allows the user to set up input parameters, run the analysis, and view the results from a standard desktop environment. AVID VorView’s ease of use and rapid execution make it an ideal tool for conceptual parametric studies.
